Lately, the existance of private schools plus in Indonesia has been widely trusted in fostering academic excellence and high achievements. The Indonesia Minister of Education itself instructs the educators to establish private schools with excellent quality in educating, guiding students.
Hilaris Senior High School is established to support recent’s Indonesia’s education needs. As an English IT-based school, we offer three integrated curricula, involving two international curricula (Singaporean and Cambridge Curricula) and Indonesian Curriculum, and we committed to achieve an excellent curricula and programs output quality.
Hilaris Senior High School exists to provide a comprehensive education since we believe that every child has their own potentials that must be explored and improved for their better future. Furthermore, we also emphasize on character building like adversity, responsibilty, respect, empathy, honesty, courage, etc., also on skill set such as leadership, critical thinking, problem solving, literature and entrepreneurship.
Hilaris Senior High School has three pillars as the basic of education in preparing students from various aspects, they are Knowledge, Character, and Skill Set for creating excellent students who are ready to answer all various global challenges.
Hilaris Senior High School is modeled after Hilaris Junior High School in terms of curricula, teaching and educational approaches. This high school also has more programs to answer the need of students to continue their tertiary education. The media of instruction are English, Bahasa Indonesia, and Mandarin.

Three Integrated Curicula
Hilaris Senior High School offers two international curricula, they are Singaporean and Cambridge (UK) Curricula, and also Indonesian New 2013 Curriculum, which is committed to excellent quality. Through these three integrated curricula, students will be easier to meet global knowledge and skills.
HILARIS SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL PROGRAMS
Hilaris Senior High School committed to use The Three Pillars as the basic of education in preparing students from various aspects, they are Knowledge, Character, and Skill Set. The three Pillars are used as the reference for creating excellent students who are ready to answer all the global challenges. Thus, we provide various programs based on these pillars.
IT & Coding Based
The integrated IT and Coding is a learning approach used by Hilaris Senior High School in order to enhance learning experiences. This learning approach, which is used in every lesson provided in our school, aims to focus on effective learning and hone students’ knowledge.
STUDENT EXCHANGE PROGRAM
Exchange program is a obligatory program in which the second term of grade XI students visit some of our partner institutions abroad. Through this program, the students will have a chance to join international classes and delve some informations needed to continue their tertiary education. They will also experience the cultural values and diversity in another country. By broadening their knowledge and experience, the students are expected to be ready to face the global challenges in the future.
GRATEFUL PROGRAM
The integrated IT and Coding is a learning approach used by Hilaris Senior High School in order to enhance learning experiences. This learning approach, which is used in every lesson provided in our school, aims to focus on effective learning and hone students’ knowledge.
CAMBRIDGE ASSESSMENT
Hilaris Senior High School is a school which has 80% English as the medium of instruction and daily conversation. Therefore, we attempt to measure the learning achievement for students using English by Cambridge Test (ESOL) as one of the international certified examination that recognized around the world by thousands of employers, universities and government ministries as a proof of ability to use English. Cambridge Test is a mandatory program for all students in the first term of grade XI.
Universities Preparation and Collaboration (UPC)
In order to facilitate our students to continue their tertiary education, here we provide a a platform in which the students of grade XII will be intensively trained to prepare the university entrance exam. In addition, during this UPC program, there will be a lot of collaboration events where students can get the opportunity to know more about certain domestic collaborated-universities, including entrance strategy, prospective careers and scholarship fair. This program is open to all of grade XII students.
Hilaris Youngpreneur Program
As one of our excellent programs in keeping pace with the development of technology and innovation, Youngpreneur exists to help students think outside the box and nurture unconventional talents and skills. We believe that introducing entrepreneurship to students develops their initiative and helps them to be more creative and self-confident in whatever they undertake and to act in a socially responsible way. Through our Youngpreneur program, the Entrepreneurship Curriculum is conducted to help students gain some of the critical business-related skills, such as leadership and managerial skills, communication skills, time management, research and analysis, writing skills, public speaking and presentations, etc.
HILARIS LITERATURE PROGRAM
Giving students access to all varieties of literature is extremely important for their success because it develops cognitive skills, provides an avenue for students to learn about their own cultural heritage and the cultures of other people, also it helps students develop their emotional intelligence and creativty. Being aware of the importance of literacy, also as the form of our support to goverment’s program i.e. Literacy and Numeracy Program, here we provide a Hilaris Literature Program (HLP) to help students develop love and passion for reading, writing, analizing the text and understanding the concept covering it. In addition, in this HLP, the students will be guided until they succeed in producing a book each year as valuable and memorable works. This HLP program is definitely in line with our three pillars.
